Crowns & Bridges

Bridges
Bridges help replace a section of missing teeth and are often referred to as fixed partial dentures. Fixed bridges are only able to be removed by your dentist. Bridges are custom made from porcelain, gold alloys, or other materials. Bridges help restore the natural contour of your teeth and help with proper biting between upper and lower teeth.
Crowns
A crown is placed on top of an existing tooth to improve tooth function and appearance. Crowns are synthetic caps which are usually made of porcelain to resemble natural teeth. They can be used to cover implants, attach bridges, or prevent an existing tooth from further damage.
